Imitation
This short movie directed by the newcomer Franciszek Wekka tells a story of a young man who gets affected by a prosperous businessman. This incident changes the young man‘s lifestyle which has a distinctive impact on the way he treats his flatmate.
Making Imitation
"Imitation" is a successful result of the cooperation between the newcomer director Franciszek Wekka and the Maiden Entertainment Motion Picture company.
The screenplay was developed in a day by the director himself and Maciej Idziorek, who is also playing one of the main characters in the movie. The scenes for “Imitation” were shoot in three days. During the shooting the movie was daily edited and updated. The biggest procedure in the production of this film was the postproduction and the post-synchronisation of every dialogue and nearly every sound in the movie. After two months the project was finished and it set about 50 Euro.
Premiere of Dead Friends II
The premiere of "Imitation" took place on Friday the 21th December, 2007 at Cinemagic at the event “Offene Leinwand” (germ. open screen) organised by WienXtra. The short film positively impressed the audience. After the premiere 20 DVDs with the film were given to the audience.
